Lim Wanye is a graduate of University of London. She specialises in tax advisory and dispute resolution, advising and representing diverse clients in tax applications, audits, and investigations before the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM), Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) and the Special Commissioners of Income Tax (SCIT).

Professional Experience

• Represent corporate and individual clients in tax audits and investigations by IRBM.
• Assist team in negotiation and settlement of tax disputes with relevant authorities including IRBM & MOF.
• Manage procedures of dispute resolution proceedings at the IRBM level and represent taxpayers at SCIT.
• Represent clients in applications for tax exemptions and tax incentives, including the preparation and submission of supporting documentation and justifications.
• Interpreting tax laws, regulations, and judicial precedents for preparing submissions and responding to departmental inquiries
