Ng Ka Heng is an Assistant Manager of Indirect Tax at TRATAX Sdn. Bhd. He works with both Malaysia-based and international clients on a wide variety of matters, in particular those relating indirect tax.

Professional Experience

• Represented clients in applications and appeals to Royal Malaysian Customs Department (“RMCD”) and Ministry of Finance (“MoF”) in mattes involving SST (“Sales and Service Tax”) and Customs classification (import duty).
• Provide SST advisory services for multiple clients including Fortune 500 companies.
• Assisted clients from various sectors in implementing SST expansion, which includes education, constructions, financial services, rental / leasing, repair & maintenance, among others.
• Assisted clients on product HS Code classification engagements, including customs ruling application to RMCD.
• Contributed to the policy impact study engagements such as excise duty for specific industry issue.
