As Chairman of the Supervisory Board of WTS Global he shapes the future of the tax industry and supports the further growth of WTS Global as the pre-eminent global tax practice.

In his role as member of our management board in Germany he is entrusted with responsibility for several areas of WTS Germany’s services including Financial Services, Tax & Accounting Services & HR Taxes. In addition, as Global Head of Indirect Tax, he drives the dynamic growth of WTS’ Indirect Tax practice which has already positioned itself as a leading practice globally, recognized inter alia as „Best Indirect Tax Firm in Europe 2024“ by ITR and as „VAT practice of the year 2022 & 2023“ by Juve Steuermarkt.

Prior to joining WTS, he gained experience working with the international organization of a Big 4, a leading commercial & investment bank and the German tax authorities.

Jürgen is a certified German Tax Advisor and holds a diploma in Fiscal Economics from the University of Applied Sciences in Nordkirchen, as well as a master degree in International Business Law from the University of St. Gallen (M.B.L.-HSG).

His specialization lies in advising MNCs regarding the efficient & compliant set-up of their tax teams and structures, the co-sourcing of Tax and Finance functions (Business Partnering) as well as in Indirect Taxes. Jürgen is a regular speaker at international conferences, publishes in several journals and is a member of the advisory council to Germany‘s leading VAT journal, as well as a board member of the scientific organization on VAT in Germany. This focus has been awarded by several publications recognizing him as one of the leading tax advisors in Germany.
