Professional Experience

• Represented clients from Fortune 500 and multinational companies across diverse industries e.g., manufacturing, property development, IT and digital solutions, rental and leasing, logistic solutions, automotive, etc.
• Deliver comprehensive advisory reports on indirect tax matters such as import-related duty and tax, sales tax and service tax, excise duty, tariff classification etc.
• Contributed to an advisory engagement in relation to indirect tax efficiency and compliance for a Fortune 500 company investing a RM1 billion manufacturing facility in Malaysia.
• Assisted multinational companies in the data center industry in obtaining import duty and sales tax exemption on importation of multimedia/ICT equipment.
• Advised a multinational energy company in a due diligence project to acquire a group of companies in the oil and gas industry in respect of GST audit closure, service tax, export duty and Sarawak state sales tax matters.
